Hawkeye sweathearts!

Since it's been a while I thought I should do some updating! We are having a wonderful summer. We've been to Chicago, The Dream Night at the Des Moines Zoo, Art fest, Jazz Fest, Fireworks, pool time, two weeks in Okoboji and now we're getting ready to head to Missouri for the weekend. We love the amazing weather we've been having and despite the price of gass we're enjoying our travels. Josiah has also run in two triathlons and run well! Enjoy the pictures!

The girls are watching the last big snowfall in April! It was litterally big! the flakes were like clumps of cotton balls!

Bathtime Q & A with Averie

Averie, who has been developing her thesis on what constitutes the perfect bubble bath, decides to collaborate online with one of her contemporaries (Ashlyn, age 1) to further this research. This little professor utilizes her "instructor" pose for dramatic effect! Averie's assistant, Anna, is hard at work in the background carrying out several bubble bath research projects. After comparing results with Ashlyn, a preliminary draft of this document is sure to be published...stay tuned for updates!

We're having a party!!!

Averie's turning 1!! We're celebrating at PaPa's house on April 26th at 11am. We'd love to see you there!!!

Toddler Days

Hi everyone, it's official, Averie is walking. She's been taking a few steps between Josiah and I for a while now but Wed. evening she took off! There's no stopping her now!

Happy Birthday Anna Grace!!!

Anna started her morning off with a Birthday song sung by Averie, Daddy and Mom, then her cousin Kaleb called and sang to her...off to therapy where Shelley and Deanna had cupcakes, basketball and stickers waiting. Anna decorated the cupcakes for her OT time. That evening we had another party with her Dad, Avie, Mom, Grandpa and Grandma. She had a wonderful time.
